Along wins 2024 Top Ed Tech Products Award from District Administration

We are honored to announce that Along has been named a 2024 Top Ed Tech Products Awards winner by District Administration. The teacher-student connection builder is one of an elite group of innovative education solutions that will be recognized at the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC), taking place Jan. 23 – 26, 2024 in Orlando.

The Top Ed Tech Products Awards annually acknowledge education technology tools that are helping school leaders meet the evolving needs of their districts and schools. Along was judged and chosen a winner for its innovation, effectiveness, and impact in the category of Learning Environment & Student Support Technology.

The award validates what we’ve heard from educators about the impact of Along on their communities.

Sophia Yargo, a 9th-grade English teacher at Struthers High School in Ohio, recently told us, “It’s important to consider what my students are feeling right now, how I can make them feel more confident, and to be able to help them learn. Along helps with that in a lot of ways, giving them a space to share their thoughts and feelings in a non-threatening way. And, they know that I’m reading their answers on Along and developing ideas surrounding what I’m teaching them.”

Through the connections built on Along, Jenn Carlson, a computer science teacher at Mesa View Middle School in Farmington, New Mexico, said that her students “respect me more and they stay on task. The payback is worth every minute. The more you get to know your kids, the more they are going to work for you. We are trying to get them fired up about school by getting to know them better and to make these connections so these kids really understand that there’s a lot of people in this building who care about you.”

These educator experiences tell us that Along is making a difference across the country—but that’s not all. Stay tuned as the Along team continues to talk to educators around the country and works to improve the platform to make the educator and student experience even more meaningful.
